It’s funny how we’ll have this brilliant idea, something that solves problems for others, or serves those that solve those problems but refuse to be the face of the brand.
The reality of staying behind-the-scenes is a common one because we want our ideas to stand on their own, without needing to be involved. But one of the best parts about being visionaries (I believe ALL founders are visionaries) is that we have idea after idea after idea. It’s in our nature to create solutions, to conceptualize a different way of doing things and so, multiple businesses may be born, way past our first one, and so on.
Stepping out in front of your business is so crucial to building connection with your audience, serving the WHY + the HOW behind the WHAT. We are all voyeurs to some extent, it’s why social media eats up so much of our time — learning how they did that, what they are up to, what’s new in their worlds. It’s just a part of our digital DNA.
So how can you step out and create a version that feels right for you?
?A couple options to kickstart you ↓
- Bring your community along for the ride as you build
- Share without inhibition
- Make social a playground — whether you’re selling through a DM, on an email thread or face-to-face, social is your business card
- Special tip: being on camera is helpful but not required. many brands aren’t the faces of their companies (coaches need not apply)
